Events
Fight Club regularly hosts events which allow members the opportunity to test their training. Events held by us include:
- Amateur boxing events (Pro-am fight night)
- Professional boxing events (Brute force)
Fight Club encourages all of our students who train to compete in our Pro Am events. Contrary to our professional events, the Pro-Am events are at a much lower level and allow students the opportunity to compete against others who are also at the same level. This is a great way to give students their first few fights and exposure to the competitive nature of boxing. Experience gained from these events is invaluable and pave the way for progression and refinement in ability. However, if you are not interested in competing, you are very welcome to come watch the matches and show your support for your fellow trainers/members. This is encouraged by offering discounted ticket prices for members and their family. The Pro-Am nights are great to see and conducted with the upmost respect for both our fighters and the audience. As such the fights are controlled and refereed for the safety of everyone involved.
The professional events held by us, Brute Force, are strictly restricted to professional fighters and involve the best interstate and international fighters. Many of our own students partake in this event and their success is attributed to the support offered by every member in our club.
