Victorian Kyokushin Novice Karate Tournament

These tournaments are a new addition to Fight Club and involve the collaboration of various Karate schools situated across Victoria. The aim of this tournament has been to set all politics with Karate aside and allow different styles to compete against each other in one tournament. The result was over 150 competitors spread across a variety of divisions.

These tournaments are novice events and restrictions are placed on competitors with large amounts of experience. Additionally, restrictions are placed on black belts to the events they are allowed to compete in. This gives beginner students the opportunity to compete against one another without the fear of facing an opponent who is highly skilled. Fight Club is highly involved in these tournaments and through the appropriate training in classes, encourages all of its students to compete.
