Pro-Am Fight Night
Amateur Fight Nights have been running successfully for over 7 years. This year we have decided to go Pro-Am, meaning fighters have the opporuntity to compete at a basic amateur level (i.e with full padding and protective equipment) then step up to a higher level of fighting (without head gear, 10oz gloves and shin-instep pads) enabling them to make the transition to fight as undercards on professional shows.
Amateur Fight Nights give fighters a chance to compete in a safe environment, and with the new ranking system, they can view their progress against other fighters. It's a great way to test their skills and training, while getting the experience of a real fight infront of an audiance. A high degree of preperation goes into each fight where fighters are matched against others who have the same weight and a similair level of experience. These fights are highly moderated by a referee where if any moment a fighter is unable to defend themselves or is at risk of injury, the fight will be stopped. This setting allows beginners to expose themselves to the competitive nature of their chosen martial art with minimal risk.
