At Melbourne Fight Club, we believe in providing exceptional customer expeirence. That is why, before beginning classes, we provide a 30-minute Introduction Personal Training (PT) session.
Before you join the group, we want you to feel at ease and confident in your martial art journey.

Why do we provide the Introduction session?
Our martial arts classes aren't just for large groups. We consider the goals and needs of each individual.
If you are a beginner, our experienced trainers will teach you basic skills such as wrapping your hands, getting into a fighting stance, throwing a jab, crossing, and hooking.
This way, you can come and immerse yourself in the environment of Melbourne Fight Club and confidently join a class and feel included.
Even if you have prior experience, a one-on-one session with our professional trainers allows them to tailor their teachings to your specific needs and skill set.
That is why we require all new members to attend an introduction session before attending our classes.

As stated earlier on this page, we focus on each individual member and consider their goals and objectives. If you want to join our Boxing, Karate, or Muay Thai classes for the first time, you must attend this session. This allows us to learn about you and your goals, assess your physical strength and skill level, and prepare you to participate in the class.
No, the intro session is intended for people of all skill levels, particularly beginners. If you have a few years of experience in a martial art style (e.g., Karate, Boxing, etc.), you may be able to join our martial arts classes without having to attend the intro session.

The intro session is only for adults (18 and up). We do, however, offer 1-week kid trials for children aged 4 and up.
Intro sessions are only held during opening hours (Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and are subject to our trainers' availability.
Based on the time that is suitable for you, we will allocate one of our professional trainers who is available. All our trainers are professionals in one or more martial arts who are supervised by the head trainer and founder of Melbourne Fight Club, Shihan George Kolovos who is a well-known martial, highly accomplished martial arts instructor with a four-decade career and a 2018 inductee into the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
Gorge is known globally (especially in Japan) for producing world champions and his students have dominated national and international competitions, earning him a reputation as one of the industry's most successful instructors.

We will provide all the necessary equipment (e.g., boxing gloves, hand wraps, etc.) for your trial session. However, if you prefer to bring your own, you are more than welcome to do so.
We suggest bringing your own water bottle for your convenience, although bottled water is also available for purchase.
We also recommend bringing a small towel to use during your training session to wipe away sweat and stay comfortable.
Safety is a top priority for us. Our professional trainers are trained to ensure a safe training environment. They will teach you proper techniques and supervise your progress to minimize the risk of injuries. We also have safety protocols in place, such as first aid provisions and emergency action plans.
The booking deposit for the intro session is $50 which is fully refundable back into your membership and complete your registration.
